I stopped by RT Rotisserie and grabbed a delicious rotisserie chicken sandwich and a bowl of their famous chicken soup. The sandwich was tasty, but the bread was a bit harder than I like it. Still, for $13, it's a great value - comparable to a high-end banh mi! But the real star of the show is the chicken soup. The broth is packed with flavor and the veggies and chicken are cooked to perfection. At $10, it's a great value for the quality and portion you receive. Pro tip: dip your sandwich into the soup for a FLAVOR EXPLOSION! Overall, RT Rotisserie is a great spot for a quick, delicious meal. Service is great and it's a very low key environment. Every time I visit the city, RT is definitely on my list of spots to rotate through and order from again. It's a reliable favorite that never disappoints. Can't wait to go back for more.

Friendly service and the food came out really quickly. The skin on the chicken was really delicious. Comfortable and quiet place to eat. Went here for my partner's birthday :)

In Hayes Valley for a show, and stopped by for some chicken. It was an open and airy restaurant where we ordered at a counter and sat with a number, until our order arrived. There was a simple menu, but there were many delicious looking options to choose from. We went with the rotisserie chicken sandwich and the rotisserie chicken salad and the roasted cauliflower with a beet tahini dip. The sandwich had the best bread and was loaded with chicken and fresh extras, making it mouth watering. The salad was amazing, too. It had a lot going on with tender chunks of chicken breast, beets, a variety of lettuces and a tangy dressing. The cauliflower was a pleasant surprise, tender and easy to eat and a flavorful and colorful purple dip to boost the flavor. It was actually fun to eat! Hard to believe cauliflower and fun are in the same sentence, but it really was. There are so many good things to try here. We have to come back and test out more of their menu.

I door dashed a chicken rice bowl for lunch today. This was my first time trying RT rotisserie. Overall, I enjoyed my bowl. It's a great, healthy lunch option. The rice really stands out. The chicken was very tender, but I wish there was more of it. I would definitely order from here again or try dining in next time.

This is one of the few places where I will not get tired of eating the same thing every time. I am absolutely in love with their rice bowls -- their meat is tender and flavorful, the mix of veggies add crunchy texture and fragrance and balance out the salt, and most importantly THE RICE made with chicken fat is so addicting!!! The meaty fatty flavor always satisfies my cravings -- I just can't get enough. There's also a good variety of sauces to choose from -- chimichurri is the most popular and also my favorite. The bowl portion size is also just enough to fill you up but not give you a food coma. Service is also super fast because you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Not a whole lot of seating in this location but people come and go pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend for a quick, fulfilling, light and healthy meal!

We had an early weeknight dinner here, and it wasn't crowded. Nice casual place. Place order at the counter, delivered to your table. I wish I could say the food was superb, but it wasn't. Sally's Hurricane Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich was just ok. Seemed that the flavors all muddled together and nothing really stood out. There's a sweetness to the chicken. Good to know if you don't care for that. I thought the chicken patty was a little dry. The curry chicken rice bowl looked really good, and the flavor was good. But I thought that the chicken in the bowl was very dry. That was pretty disappointing. If I could, I would give this place 3.5 stars. It was serviceable, but I didn't find anything spectacular about it.

Loved all the house-made side sauces that paired well with the chicken of course but I found them equally enjoyable with the side dishes. I was surprised to see that the cauliflower side was a full head so you may want to share that. I really am starting to like the ease of counter service and love the convenience when I'm in a hurry. This place is just a block off the beaten path but well worth the stop when your are near the performing arts or civic center.
